Pipelines for water
We install, assemble, and modify all types of water pipelines — from distribution pipelines to homes and businesses (customer-driven) to long-distance transport pipelines (grid-driven).
We work with every material type, from glass-fibre reinforced plastic and steel to PE and concrete. Our in-house fitters, welders, and technicians have the skills and equipment to make every required connection.
Naturally, all our work complies with KIAD standards (Quality Instruction for Drinking Water Installation).
Pipelines for gas
To make homes gas-free, new types of gas networks are needed. However, existing gas pipelines are everywhere, and it’s impossible to switch over all at once.
That’s why many existing gas pipelines must be adapted, maintained, upgraded, or replaced. Whether it concerns a single home, an apartment building, or an industrial complex — we install, assemble, and modify every type of gas pipeline.
Our own mechanics, fitters and welders have the expertise and equipment to create every required connection. Our capabilities include pipeline design, assembly of pipes and fittings, and testing for pressure and volume.
District heating
The number of district heating networks in the Netherlands is increasing. These systems play an important role in the transition towards a climate-neutral energy system.
Installing heat distribution pipelines is a specialist field in itself. Mainly due to the temperature differences between the pipes and their surroundings and the specific types of connections required. At Van Vulpen, these projects are in safe hands, with a constant focus on ensuring security of supply.

That is why we are investing in climate-neutral office buildings, electric vehicles, charging stations and fast chargers, battery packs, electrical equipment and hydrogen technologies.
